Mountain Fried Rabbit

Mountain Fried Rabbit

2 young rabbits, washed and dressed
2 beaten egg yokes
3 cups of milk
1 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of shortening

Dry the rabbits and cut into several pieces. Combine the egg yolks and 1 cup of milk and
gradually add 1 cup of the flour, then add the salt and beat until smooth. Dip rabbit pieces into
the batter and fry in hot fat until brown, or about 15 minutes. Reduce the heat and continue
cooking until tender, about 30 to 40 minutes, turning frequently. To make gravy add the remaining flour to fat in pan, gradually add the remaining milk and stirring constantly, heat to boiling and season to taste with salt and black pepper. Pour over the pieces of rabbit.

ondeh-ondeh keledak

Ondeh-Ondeh Keledek

Bahan-bahan
600g keledek (direbus dengan daun pandan, dikupas dan dilecek) 4 helai daun pandan (ditembuk dan diperah airnya) 4 susu makan penuh tepung gandum 1 ketul gula melaka (dikikis) 230g kelapa parut dibuang kulit 1 sudu teh garam (digaul dengan kelapa)
Cara-cara
· Titiskan air perahan dari daun pandan itu pada keledek lecek dan adunkan.
· Campur tepung, sedikit garam da adun lagi hingga sebati. Ambil sedikitadunan itu, leperkan dan letakkan sedikit gula Melaka di tengahnya.Bentukkan bulat-bulat. Jerang air sehingga mendidih. Masukkan kuih tadi satu persatu.Setelah timbul, angkat dan toskan, kemuduan selaput kiuh itu dengankalapa parut.
